I didn’t expect to find anything conclusive at West Norwood, just fogged tales and secondhand sightings. But standing in front of that tomb, something felt... familiar. Not the place — the trace. A sticky green residue near the stone, almost shimmering under lab light. When I ran a scan, the chemical signature partially matched an old sample flagged years ago from the █████████ sublevel breach — one that was supposed to be unique.
Worse — or maybe better? — this isn’t the first place I’ve felt like something is leaving signs for me. Just out of reach, just subtle enough that anyone else would shrug it off. But not me. Not after seeing that pattern repeat: residue, energy trace, interference, silence.
Someone’s either stalking the same anomalies I am, or worse... they’re leading me toward them.
I'm starting to wonder if this is all connected. Maybe the Spurgeon Node Residue Capture wasn’t a fluke. Maybe it's a message. From something not quite alive — but definitely not gone.
Next step: trace the chemical trail. It shouldn’t exist outside the Langley subnodes... unless something ███████████ got out.
